Bob Gillespie has received many honors and titles in his career. In 1988 he organized the local home builder’s organization and served as its first president and off and on again for many years. Past president of the Knoxville Home Builders, Builder of the years 1991 and 1995. Inducted into the State Hall of Fame. Served as State Rep to the National Home Builders Assn. He is a life director for state and national HBA. Elected to Board of Trustee for HBAT Self Insured Trust. Builder of Sevier County’s first solar home, introduced floor trusses, built underground home, built a foam and steel home. Constructed the Great Smoky Mt. Assn. of Realtors building, several churches, business offices and over 200 vacation homes.
Bob and his wife Eve have been married 47 years this July and they have a married daughter, Angela, Son-In-Law, Clark and three grandchildren, Kayla, Patrick and Jacob. They will be married 25 years in 2009. |

Dewayne and family are of the Methodist faith. He and his wife, Stana have two children, Mckynlea and Andy. Dewayne was the past president of local HBA and recent winner of the Parade of Homes "Curb Appeal" award. He was also the first builder in the world to use Whole House Envelope by Tyvek and was chosen to work on some of their pilot programs. |
